This years Holiday Gift box color theme is based on the classic poem by Robert Frost - Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening. Each skein will be individually wrapped and numbered along with extra fun treats and a gift for the holiday. The colors will be a rich blend of earthy colors mixed with shades of blues, greens, greys, browns and reds. Each colorway will blend beautifully from one to the next in a combination of handpainted colors, tonals and solids.

I am offering this years Holiday mini set on our Classic Sock yarn base. This is a fingering weight yarn, perfect for any project. It has been made using wool from local U.S. farmers and ranchers and spun at a small local mill. It is a blend of 80% SW Merino and 20% Nylon. It is super soft and wears well. Suitable for any garment whether it will be worn next to the skin or not.

There are 87 yards per 20g skein. There are 431 yards per 100g skein.

Choose between full size 100 gram skeins or the 20 gram mini skeins for your advent.

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

Whose woods these are I think I know.

His house is in the village though;

He will not see me stopping here

To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer

To stop without a farmhouse near

Between the woods and frozen lake

He gives his harness bells a shake

To ask if there is some mistake.

The only other sound’s the sweep

Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

But I have promises to keep,
